Jesters English Bull Terriers

today the 25th of novenber our hearts have been ripped out. this site was started becouse of one dog ie bully boy a fantastic beautiful dog, no not just a dog a son/friend/companion that gave us so much and never asked for anything in return.today we lost our bully boy and while i miss him and love him i know he is in a better place as he was in pain and he now has peace.bully made a differece he changed the way a lot of people thought about bull terriers he was and will always be the best he will never be forgotton and will never leave our hearts, we will miss you so much my fella and i will expect ya to be waiting at the pearly gates when my time is up. luv u xxxxxxxxxx

i dont know when i will update this site as my heart isnt in it at the mo loosing bully had destroyed me a little and i dont know if i can carry on with it we will see in the coming months

bully you were brilliant.you was the best dog ever and i miss you.i want you back. my hole family miss you and always will care about you.we are very sad that you have now gone forever.i wish this had never happend to you xxxxxxx

 

Hi, and welcome to jesters

                 We are the pontin family and no this isnt family fortunes lol, we are a family of 2 adults, 4 kids and 3 dogs, 1 rabbit and a guinne pig and we live in rural lincolnshire miles from anywhere. We have had bull breed dogs for many years our first being a staffordshire bull terrier some 10 years ago now and since then have bred rescued and rehomed many more of the breed. We stopped breeding staffords some 5 years ago now and have been looking to find another breed as once our baby goes no other staffie could ever match up to her, the wife made our minds up for us though and i must admit im glad she did, our fist english bull terrier a male called legacy of kaine ie bullymondo arrived with us in mid 2005 and our second ebt a female called villensia hobb goblin ie jessicawabbit arrived with us in late 2006.

                             

What i want more than anything is for people to understand these dogs more and not only the ebt but the sbt too. These dogs are very much people dogs and most will gladly entertain anyone who comes within licking distance genarally these dogs are not agressive yes there are a few that have been handled wrong that have become a bit iffy but it cant be blamed on the dog if the owner doesnt have the sense to train the dog propa. ENGLISH BULL TERRIERS have a sense of humour i think like no other dog they have a pretty much warped sense of humour really very much naughty school boy lol you know the one who was made to sit next to the teacher so he couldnt do anything but still managed to get in to trouble yep thats me lol oops..... no thats bully. These dogs are really kiddy friendly and will protect the kids follow them around the garden for hours and generaly become misfits together it all seems to make sense when you find one of the bratts sat in the garden with a choc penguine,  dog sitting in front and they are taking it in turns to have a bite then when finnished boy hugs dogs whispers not to tell parents and off they go again lol. i picked the name jesters cos thats what they are and from what ive seen pretty much all ebt's are very much the same in the fact that they are all a bit nutty not quite the full biscuit but at the same time if it is somthing thats underminded like knicking food or sneaking out then they are masters of the trade.
